YANKEE GREY TO PLAY THE MOTHER CHURCH OF COUNTRY MUSIC
ACM Awards nominee Yankee Grey are realizing yet another dream come true as they have been asked to perform at the most esteemed of all country music institutions, the Grand Ole Opry. The group will be performing this Saturday, April 1 at the Opry and as can be expected, are extremely excited about the event.
"No other stage in the world has the heritage or the electricity of the Opry," said an elated Tim Hunt, lead singer of Yankee Grey. "This is definitely a moment and it is an honor to be asked to be part of the show."
Yankee Grey is enjoying a skyrocketing career since the release of their debut Monument Records disc Untamed. The group are final nominees for Best New Duo Or Group in the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards to be held May 3
